You were there. Prove it.

You have watched thousands of games and remember a handful. Scorebug keeps the rest. The final whistle goes, you grade it out of 5.0 and write what you thought, and it stays in your vault for good. Live scores run across 19 leagues, and you can go back and log finals as far as the 2002 season.

Where we stand

Zero gambling ads. Zero sports betting.

There isn’t any, and there never will be. No odds, no spreads, no “get $200 in bonus bets”, no sportsbook logo in the corner of a scoreboard. Just you and the game.

100% Independent

Built with zero corporate league payouts, zero betting sponsorships, and pure sports fan passion. We don’t bow to league copyrights or media blackouts. Just raw, unbiased scorekeeping for true fans.

What Scorebug does

The core loop

Rate & chronicle

The whistle goes and the feeling starts fading. Grade it while it is still raw, write what you actually thought, and pin the ticket stub to it. Years later that is the difference between a score you can look up and a night you can relive.

  • A goal-light dial, 1.0 to 5.0, in half-points, because a 4 and a 4.5 were not the same night
  • Say how you were there: on the couch, in the building, out watching, or hosting the watch party
  • Ticket stubs and photos stay private to your Vault. Always, and by default
  • Ratings and reviews start public so other fans can find them, with a per-game switch to keep any one to yourself
The Log in Scorebug: finished games ready to chronicle, each with its final score and a Log this game button.

Your command centre

The Slate

Stop running four apps and a group chat on game night. Every match on today's card, across every league you care about, on one screen. The second one goes final, you log it from the same card you were watching it on.

  • NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, CFL, college football and men’s college basketball
  • MLS, the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the Champions League
  • The Chinese Super League, the Indian Super League and Japan’s J1 League
  • Cricket: the Indian Premier League, with full scorelines
  • Formula 1 race schedules, status and podiums
  • Scores move on their own while the game is live. No pull to refresh, no reload
The Slate: a day of finals across leagues, each matchup card washed in both teams' colours with a Log this game action.

Your trophy room

The Vault

The shoebox of ticket stubs, except you can actually find things in it. Every game you have graded, every note you wrote, every stub you photographed, in one room with your running average over the door.

  • Every game you have ever logged. No time limit, no archiving, nothing expires
  • Sort by most recent, highest-rated or lowest-rated, so your best night is one tap away
  • The Time Machine reaches back to the 2002 season, so your history starts long before the app did
  • Filter by league, or search your own notes for the game you half-remember
The Scorebug home screen with the calendar and an upcoming Docket, beside the Rate and Chronicle screen part-way through a grade.

Frequently asked

What is Scorebug?

Scorebug is a social sports-logging app. It is Letterboxd for sports. You rate the games you watch out of 5.0 and write your own take on them. Every game you log stays in your Vault.

How do I track and log the sports games I watch?

Open The Slate to see every game across your leagues. Tap a game once it is final and chronicle it: a rating from 1.0 to 5.0 in half-steps, how you watched (broadcast, at the venue, out watching, or a watch party), your notes and your own photos. The "+" button searches any team and logs straight from its recent finals.

Which sports and leagues does Scorebug support?

19 leagues: the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, CFL, NCAA football and NCAA men’s Division I basketball, MLS, the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Champions League, the Chinese Super League, the Indian Super League, Japan’s J1 League, the Indian Premier League and Formula 1. Standings, rosters and player stats run for the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB and NCAA. The CFL, MLS, the European leagues and the Asian leagues get schedules, live scores and team pages. Cricket — the IPL — gets schedules, live scores, full scorelines and team pages. Formula 1 gets race schedules, race status and podiums.

Can I log games I watched years ago?

Yes. The Time Machine reaches back to the 2002 season. Pick the date and find the final, and it counts toward your archive just like a game you logged live.

Are my photos and notes private?

Photos and ticket stubs are always private. They stay in your Vault. Your rating and written review are a per-game choice: you decide whether each one is posted to The Bleachers or kept to yourself.

Is Scorebug free?

Scorebug is free to use, on the web and on Android. The Front Office is an optional subscription that raises the Starting Lineup from 5 teams to 25, lifts the caps on the Docket and Clippings, adds the full Analytics Desk and Vault export, and removes the ads from The Bleachers feed. It is $3.99 a month or $19.99 a year, billed in your own currency (USD in the United States, CAD in Canada) — about $1.67 a month on the annual plan. You can cancel any time, and your local price including tax is confirmed at checkout.

What platforms is Scorebug available on?

Scorebug runs today in any browser at getscorebug.app. That is the full app, with no install and no waiting. The Android build is in closed testing, so access is by invite: sign up on this page with your name, email and platform, we add your address to the tester list in Google Play, and Google emails your invite. An iOS version is planned after Android.

Do I need to download anything to use Scorebug?

No. The complete app runs in your browser at app.getscorebug.app — the same Slate, Log, Vault and Wire you get on mobile, with nothing to install and no app store involved. Sign in and you can log a game in under a minute.

How do I join the Scorebug Android test?

Sign up on getscorebug.app with your name, the email on your Google account, and Android as your platform. Because it is a closed test, Google can only admit accounts we have added to the tester list, so we add addresses in batches and Google emails the invite from there — usually within a day. Use the Google account that is signed in on your phone, or the invite cannot be redeemed. Scorebug Online works immediately in the meantime.

Can I use Scorebug on iPhone?

Yes, through the browser. There is no native iOS app yet, but Scorebug Online is the full experience and runs in Safari on iPhone and iPad at app.getscorebug.app, and you can add it to your home screen. A native iOS version is planned after Android.

Does Scorebug cover college sports and soccer?

Yes. College coverage is NCAA football and men’s Division I basketball. Soccer covers the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Champions League, MLS, the Chinese Super League, the Indian Super League and Japan’s J1 League. Cricket is the Indian Premier League. Alongside those it tracks the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, the CFL and Formula 1 — 19 leagues in total, and the list keeps growing: new leagues are added as fast as they can be done properly, so if yours is missing it is a not-yet rather than a no.
